NASHVILLE, TN - May 27, 2013 - John Ball released his self-titled EP last week. This is his second solo project to date, and features his innovative and personal songwriting. He recorded it in Nashville with producer Joshua D. Niles (Audio Adrenaline, Apache Relay, JJ Heller) and the help of the same musicians that play for Mat Kearney, Natalie Grant and The Sleep Design. Indie Vision Music said of the project, "This is a collection of worship songs which strive to transcend the trappings of the genre...John Ball is undoubtedly a gifted musician and skilled songwriter."

For John, music is an introspective journey. The EP, funded solely by dedicated Kickstarter and private backers, was birthed out of personal and emotional experiences. "A lot of times, a song I write comes from me trying to work out a situation that I find myself in, asking God for forgiveness or asking him to make something clear to me." However personal, John's writing is showcased in a simple and relatable way - enabling listeners to join in humble worship.

In addition to the EP, John released multiple videos, featuring acoustic renditions of his latest songs. These can be viewed here. He will hit the road in July to support the release in the Midwest and tour the Southeast regions during August and September. Confirmed tour dates are below, with more to be announced.
